Mumbai: Arena Animation, a training brand of Aptech Limited, organised an alumni meet in Bengaluru, bringing together industry professionals, former students, and creative aspirants from the AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality) sector.
The event saw participation from over 100 attendees, including alumni currently working across leading studios and organisations in animation, VFX, gaming, and digital design. The gathering focused on industry engagement, knowledge exchange, and strengthening professional networks within the creative ecosystem.

Among the notable alumni present were Harish Vishwakarma, Technology Director at 88 Pictures; Balaji NG, Lead UI Designer at Dentsu; Alok Kumar, Director – UI/UX at Myntra; Prashanth, Creature TD at DNEG; and Shreya Menon from Rockstar Games.
The Bengaluru event is part of a broader alumni engagement initiative planned by Arena Animation across metro and non-metro cities in India. The initiative aims to recognise alumni contributions and build stronger connections within the creative industry network.
During the event, Arena Animation also introduced new training initiatives, including Arena Animation Originals, an intellectual property (IP) creation platform designed to encourage students and alumni to develop original content.
Arena Originals was unveiled by Rituparna Sarkar, Founder and Creative Director, Visual Sarkarsam.
The platform focuses on content creation aligned with evolving demand in animation and VFX, incorporating technologies such as virtual production and digital media workflows. The institute also highlighted its continued efforts to update training modules in line with industry requirements.
