The collaboration marks a development in the expansion of alternative assets within India’s wealth management sector, bringing startup investing into mainstream wealth portfolios through institutional distribution channels.

IPV stated that it reviews more than 8,000 startup deals annually and has invested over INR 900 crore across more than 280 startups. The platform also reported backing 16 startups during the first quarter of FY2026.

The company recently announced 16 exits in FY2026, reporting a blended Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 41 percent and a Money-on-Money (MoM) multiple of 2.86x.

Bajaj Capital, which has operated in India’s wealth management sector for over six decades, said the partnership was evaluated over several months before finalisation.

Commenting on the partnership, Sanjiv Bajaj, Joint Chairman & Managing Director, Bajaj Capital said, “We evaluated IPV for four to five months, we were thorough, we were demanding, because we wanted nothing but the best for our clients. I will personally be putting my money in. I have been investing in startups for nearly 14 years, and the energy this ecosystem carries is unlike anything else. At Bajaj Capital, we treat our clients like our retired fathers, and that is exactly the standard we held IPV to before bringing them to our network.”

According to the companies, investors will receive access to curated early-stage investment opportunities supported by structured governance and due diligence processes.
